One raw material, every format and mix you need.
Coco peat (coir pith) is the spongy material between the fibres of the coconut husk. Aged, washed and screened, it holds water like peat while keeping the air-filled porosity that roots need. Tropicoir compresses it into blocks and briquettes (and bales for bulk users) so it ships at a fraction of its expanded volume and expands to a ready-to-use medium within minutes of hydration.
Blocks are supplied in a low-EC washed grade under 0.5 mS/cm for horticulture, and in a high-EC grade for soil amendment, landscaping and bedding where salinity is not critical. Pure coir pith is screened to under 12 mm; husk chips are graded separately.
The same block is produced as 100% peat, 100% chips or a 50/50 mix, and we can press any peat-to-fibre ratio you specify - 100% peat, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40 or 50:50 - so the water-to-air balance matches your crop.

Packaging
Blocks and briquettes are supplied without individual shrink wrap, stacked naked on export pallets and strapped and stretched with corner protectors. Printed retail packaging is available for briquettes.
Loading
Shipped as full 40 ft high-cube containers, palletised or loose-loaded, or as single pallets in LCL consignments for trials and smaller orders.

Palletised, strapped and ready to load
Blocks are stacked naked on export pallets, strapped, stretch-wrapped and fitted with corner protectors so the load arrives square and intact. Each pallet is labelled with the product, mix and batch so it can be matched to its certificate of analysis on arrival.

Where blocks and briquettes are used
Hydration guide
Place the block in a container and add 20-25 litres of clean, low-EC water per 5 kg block (2-3 litres per briquette). Allow 15-30 minutes, then break up and fluff. Check the EC of the hydrated medium before planting and adjust your first feed accordingly.
