Overview
Every cell filled to the same volume, every time.
A coir disk is a measured dose of screened coir peat pressed into a flat tablet. Dropped into a tray cell or pot and watered, it expands to several times its height and fills the container evenly. There is no loose substrate to handle, no dust and no variation between cells, which is why nurseries use disks for seed germination, cuttings and automated potting lines.
Disks are made from washed coir peat with a naturally low EC, so seedlings can be fed from the first irrigation. They are supplied bare or wrapped in a biodegradable net that holds the expanded plug together for mechanical transplanting.
Diameter, thickness, net and a centre dimple for seed placement are all set to your specification - tell us the tray or pot you are filling and we will match it.

Specifications from current production. Every shipment is supplied with a certificate of analysis for the actual batch, and sizes, mixes and EC grades can be produced to your own specification.

Packaging
Cartons on export pallets, strapped and stretched with corner protectors. Retail packs with private-label print are available.
Loading
Full 40 ft high-cube containers, or mixed containers with blocks, grow bags or cubes. Sample cartons are available for trials.
Terms
FOB Colombo, or CIF / DAP to your port or warehouse. Our USA, UK and Canada offices handle documentation and delivery.
Pallet and container quantities depend on the diameter you choose; we confirm them with each quotation.

How to use
Place one disk per cell or pot, water evenly until fully expanded, let it drain, then sow or stick the cutting. For netted plugs, transplant the whole plug once roots show at the net.
