Compressed coir in a UV-treated, pre-drained bag that becomes the pot. Hydrate in place and plant straight into it - no filling line, no loose substrate, no pot to buy. Sizes, mixes and drainage are made to your specification.

The pot, the substrate and the drainage in one unit.
Open tops solve a labour problem. Filling thousands of pots with loose substrate is slow, dusty and inconsistent; an open top arrives compressed and flat, expands in position with water, and is ready to plant in under an hour. Each unit has the same volume, the same mix and the same drainage, so the crop behaves uniformly.
The bag is the same co-extruded LDPE film used for our grow bags - white outside, black inside, UV treated - with drainage holes cut at the factory and, if required, a hole for a drip stake. Larger sizes accommodate two plants.
Because the mix can be anything from 100% coir peat to a coarse peat-chip blend, open tops suit both short-cycle greenhouse crops and long-cycle container crops such as blueberry and cannabis, where drainage and re-use matter most.

Packaging
Shipped flat in cartons or stacked on export pallets, strapped and stretched with corner protectors.
Loading
Full 40 ft high-cube containers, or mixed containers with grow bags, blocks and bales. Trial cartons are available for crop trials.
Terms
FOB Colombo, or CIF / DAP to your port or warehouse. Our USA, UK and Canada offices handle documentation and delivery.
Pallet and container quantities depend on the size you choose; we confirm them with each quotation.

Start-up guide
Stand the units on a draining surface, open the top and add water or nutrient solution in two or three passes until the coir is fully expanded and level with the bag. Leave for a few hours, check the drain EC, then transplant.
